GO-TO: Healthy Salads🌿

Hi babes!
If you are looking for a delicious meal for lunchtime, in the evening or in between, but still stay healthy, I think a salad is the perfect solution.
With lettuce, unfortunately, many quickly think of dry rabbit food with a pair of carrots or something ...
But salad, if put together correctly, can be really delicious.
The best part: With lettuce leaves as a basis, you can make your small meal very individual. In addition, the preparation time is never more than ten minutes.

Below I introduce you to a few of my "salad favorites" and possible dressings. At the end of this post you will also find a small "sample shopping list" with things you need for a delicious salad and which can also be stored for a long time.

1. The classic

For one person
- salad as base (about 50 gr)
- 4 cherry tomatoes (quartered)
- 1/2 carrot
- 3 slices of chicken breast (cut into strips)
- 1/4 pepper
- 1/4 avocado
below 200 Kcal.

2. The protein power salad

For one person
- mixed salad as a base (about 50 gr)
- 4 cherry tomatoes (quartered)
- 1/4 pepper
- 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
- 200 gr salmon (fried)
- 1 tbsp canned corn
- 5 black olives (halved)
- 1 tbsp roasted onions
below 200 Kcal

3. The vegan "low-everything"

For one person
- Corn salad as a base (about 50 gr)
- 4 cherry tomatoes (quartered)
- 4 black olives (halved)
- 4 green olives (halved)
- 2 white asparagus freshly cooked or from the tin (cut to pieces)
- 1 tbsp red cabbage
- 1 tbsp fried onions
- some pepper
below 150 Kcal

Of course, you can change and extend each salad as you like.

Healthy dressings

First I would like to say that the taste is the most important thing.
You should never switch to a healthier alternative, even though it does not taste at all. Nevertheless, the  things that make you fat are hidden in the "little things". What I mean is that it makes no sense to go for a salad instead of pasta at lunchtime, using 1 liter of mayonnaise as a dressing. A healthier dressing does not necessarily have to be homemade. In almost every supermarket you will find a large selection of salad dressings. When choosing one you should, however, make sure that the sauce does not contain too much sugar, as it is unfortunately increasingly used by the food industry as a flavor enhancer.

 My favourite dressings

- Classic Balsalmico
- Soy sauce thinned out with water and yogurt
- Nutriful salad dressing https://www.protein-projekt.de/nutriful-salat-dressing/265ml/thousand-island/
- lemon juice and a little olive oil

Sample shopping list

- pre-washed salad for the lazy ones;)
- canned corn - Red cabbage
- asparagus from the tin
- olives (pickled or canned)
- cherry tomatoes
- carrots
- pepper
- chicken breast slices
